Honestly I just wanted to experiment with the flavor and make more jerky in the process and just have fun. The fruity, smokey flavor came when I was thinking of what paired well with chicken.Author:

Ingredients
- boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 oz freeze dried peaches
- 3 teaspoons of smoked paprika
- 1 1/3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground Rosemary
Directions
- Slice chicken lengthwise to about 1/4 " thickness
- set aside chicken
- Combine dry ingredients by grinding them( I used a mortar and pestle, but you can use a blender or food processor)
- lay chicken out evenly on a baking tray
- sprinkle both sides evenly with the combined seasoning
- place meat on dehydrator trays
- set dehydrator to 160( that's as high as mine goes) for 4-5 hours
- once done in dehydrator place on baking tray and put in middle rack of a 300° oven for 10 minutes
- place on a cooling rack and you can sprinkle any leftover seasoning on the jerky while cooling.
