Wouldn't recommend over beef

I'm a jerky lover through and through, but this was almost exactly like beef jerky and cost almost 3 times as much. It's simply not worth the price. The texture was soft and the flavor is delicious, but so is beef jerky. I wouldn't recommend it over beef.

Doesn't get better or leaner!!

If you like ultra lean steaks, i.e. sirloin, then this is for you, there is no of the fat taste or texture, nothing but some good ol' fashioned red meat!!

Not Exotic!!

I guess this was supposed to be the "exotic" flavor in our 6 month subscription, but we can buy buffalo meat and jerky at every grocery store and farmers market in the area. It wasn't horrible, but it had a weird sweet taste. We have much better jerky available locally.
