The red licorice of our youth

This is like the licorise of boomer’s youth. Basically, like Red Vines flavor, but the flavor is stronger and each piece is thick and chewy (not hollow). This is the best licorice there is.

I was brought back to my childhood. one taste was all it took. I could see myself and my sister going to the corner candy store. I loved the red licorice and sister the black. This was about 64 or 65 yrs. ago. I don't know when the licorice changed but it was like a soap taste. I never was a buyer after that. After getting some Jerky I was surprised to discovered the snacks. I'm hooked.
