Do you like gnawing on toothpicks? This beef jerky is similar in that it's a slow, yet tasty, destructive process. I like the toughness. Keeps me from going through a bag too quickly. I can really savor the flavor.
Upon first opening the bag? Smelled like burnt beefy garlic, in the best way possible. I adore garlic. This is super smoky, has a respectable garlic flavor, and minimal spiciness.
Low fat, no sugar, great protein, decent sodium level. If this interests you, give it a shot. Give your jaw a workout! You'd probably burn off all the calories just by eating the whole bag. #Notadoctor

I bought the a pkg.of the Hickory Smoked and A pkg.of the Garlic jerky. They are a gift for someone that loves old fashioned chewy dry beef Jerky. I was really excited that it is make in my home state and has no nitrates, preservatives, or MGS. the garlic has garlic as an ingredient, not garlic flavoring!. It was hard to pick because they have so many flavors of jerky. They also have jerky sticks for those that don’t like dry chewy jerky. I will help them on my watch list for the perfect gift for my jerky loving friends!
It's great the garlic is subtle not over whelming however the old fashioned ultra dry thin style is not my bag but maybe they have a different style that I see but I will buy more
