I have never had alligator jerky before, but my friends who had had it said it was a delicacy where they lived. I was very eager to try it! I got thr original and enjoyed the flavor, it has a taste unlike beef but was ultimately very good! And not too tough!

Alligator jerky was too salty, the salt flavor over took all other flavors. I have had Alligator meat prepared many ways and have always enjoyed it. It was disappointing to not like this jerky, I was prepared to love it.

I have been looking for various new types of jerky and once I heard that alligator was on the menu, I couldn't help myself in exploring this new flavor to my palette.

As the title implies, it was very interesting, but not in a bad way, more like, very new. The jerky itself has a lean yet gamey taste to it, the texture was slightly chewy and tougher than other usual dried meat snacks, giving your jaw a bit of a workout. However don't let that deter your from trying it! It's 100% alligator with no other added meats to make up for a lacking of what's advertised unlike other brands.

If you're looking to expand your horizons a little bit and willing to take a bite of the bayou, i recommend this. And if you don't want it, that's fine. Just send it me and I'll finish it off.

Got a big selection in a wooden box for my 60th birthday from my daughters. How well they now me. Great tasting present

Horrible. Very hard to chew no taste and diarrhea. Will never order from them again.
